Please Feel Free To Leave A Comment Or A Memory You Had With Bobby~
Robert M. Warden, 48, of San Luis Obispo died Friday, June 21, 2013, at a San Luis Obipso care center. His death ended a seven month battle against Rhino Cerebral Mucor Mycosis. Born in October 1964, Bob lived nearly all of his life on Highland Ranch in the Los Osos Valley. He was a fifth generation farmer on the ranch, founded in 1868. Bob attended local schools and graduated from San Luis Obispo High School in 1974. He was active in Edna 4-H and SLOFFA. After having attended Coalinga College, he returned to San Luis and worked for J.B. Dewar before he returned to work with his family on Highland Ranch. "Angel Bob" was a great help to his brother, Mike. His selfless support of friends and family was truly evident by the tremendous concern of so many people in the area. The family extends its most sincere thanks to our friends for their support and prayers, and to visits by Bob's circle of close friends, who brightened and uplifted his days. Robert is survived by his parents, Don and Marilyn Warden; brothers Mike and Donald (Debbie); nephew, Ross; and niece, Amber. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2013, at the Old Mission Church in San Luis Obispo, followed by a remembrance in the Mission Hall. Contributions in Bob's honor may be made to the Central Coast Funds for Children, P.O. Box 1046, San Luis Obispo, CA 93406; Special Olympics SLO County, P.O.
